Gardnertown Scholars Leave their Mark with Mural

Gardnertown Leadership Academy collaborated with local artist, Joe Pimentel, to create a mural to represent the values of their school. Scholars left their mark and lasting legacy in their elementary school before venturing on to middle school! 

Students created various symbols and designs, based on prompts and concepts that were discussed in school, that were incorporated into the full mural.

Students, faculty, and staff each took turns contributing to the painting of the wall as well. Local artist Joe Pimentel has created murals at Meadow Hill School and plans to return in December to collaborate with students for another project in our schools.
