Balmville Hosts Annual Cultural Celebration!
The Annual Cultural Celebration at Balmville Elementary took place on Thursday evening, April 5th. Students and their families generously cooked and brought in delicious meals representative of their culture and background for all to enjoy. There were so many tasty foods from across the world, including empanadas, beef stew, homemade chili, baked ziti in homemade tomato sauce, jerk chicken, dumplings, and so much more! Teachers and staff, and parent volunteers gave their time to serve food and organize the event. Families were able to come together to enjoy a meal and break bread. Love has no borders and we all smile in the same language. See a photo recap here of the event!
