Summer Scholars Learn Basic Life Saving and First Aid Skills
Our summer programs have offered opportunities for students to learn and grow throughout the summer months, whether they are strengthening their academic skills or engaging in enrichment opportunities to hone or improve a new skill!
This summer, students have learned basic swimming skills coupled with basic life saving training. Basic Life Saving and First Aid includes high-quality CPR, AED operation, and multi-rescuer team response training for adults, children, and infants. During this course, students learn medical vocabulary, life-saving techniques, and career options where these skills can be used beyond Academy Field.
