Reminder | Immunization Requirements
If a student is non-compliant in immunizations, they will be excluded from attendance as of September 17, 2026, which means that any child missing the required immunizations must provide proof that the immunizations have been received or the child will not be allowed to attend school beginning September 17, 2026.
The immunization schedule and additional information about NECSD Health Services can be found by visiting our district website NewburghSchools.org, under the Departments tab, click Health Services. The immunization schedule can be found at the bottom of the page.
Please consult with your child's pediatrician and/or contact your child's school building health office with any questions or concerns.

Todos los estudiantes que ingresen o asistan a la escuela en el estado de Nueva York, incluida la asistencia escolar a distancia, deben estar vacunados de conformidad con la Sección 2164 de la Ley de Salud Pública del Estado de Nueva York. Dicha ley prohíbe a las escuelas permitir que un niño asista a clases por un periodo superior a 14 días sin contar con pruebas suficientes de que ha recibido todas las vacunas obligatorias correspondientes a su edad. Este plazo de 14 días puede ampliarse si el estudiante proviene de otro estado o de otro país.
Si un estudiante no cumple con los requisitos de vacunación, se le impedirá asistir a clases a partir del 17 de septiembre de 2026; esto significa que, si a un niño le faltan las vacunas obligatorias, deberá presentar pruebas de haberlas recibido, o de lo contrario no se le permitirá asistir a la escuela a partir de esa fecha.
