Meadow Hill Celebrates School Lunch Super Hero Day
Between preparing healthy meals for our students, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating student food allergies, and offering service with a smile, school lunch providers are true heroes. For many children, the cafeteria is the first place they enter on a school day. While serving up these healthy meals, the school lunch hero has more than nutrition on their minds. The well-being of every child is important to them. Keeping them safe, happy and providing them with healthy and delicious food is their priority.
School Lunch Hero Day is a chance to showcase the difference school lunch providers make for every child who comes through the cafeteria. On Friday May 4th, Meadow Hill students recognized the hardworking professionals in their school’s cafeteria. From heartfelt thank you cards created by the elementary students to fresh made baked items provided by the 8th grade Home & Career Skills class, Meadow Hill students “Did it with love” as they showed their appreciation for these dedicated staff members.
