New Windsor School Scholars Host Final PBIS Program Activity
New Windsor School held their final Gold Card activity “Fun in the Sun” on June 20th as part of their PBIS program. Students who followed the expectations of: be respectful, be responsible, be ready, be safe, earned an invitation to the event. Sprinklers, water play, soccer, sidewalk chalk, dancing and ice pops were some of the outdoor activities enjoyed by the students. PBIS is a positive behavior program that rewards appropriate behaviors in school. School psychologist Kelly Caci and music teacher Mary Petruncola oversee the program and are thrilled with the number of students making the right choices. PE teacher Jennifer Sepulveda co organized the event which was jam packed with fun and students excited to celebrate their success!
