#HeritageGivesBack Initiatives: The purpose of our #HeritageGivesBack initiative is for our students to participate in opportunities to give back to peers, school and community.

This year our NJHS students provided tutoring one day a week after school.  Sessions were supervised by a teacher and filled up with students taking advantage of the 1:1 peer tutoring.

Our Annual Veterans Day Breakfast is planned and presented by our students.  We celebrated 75 Heritage families this year and ended our morning with a student lined hallway salute to all as they left the building.

Our Student Government posted hearts on every locker and classroom door in the building with positive quotes.  Everyone came into the building on Valentine’s day with a heart and message to start their day.

The Student Government collected donations for St. Luke’s NICU.  They celebrated with an ice cream social.
