The NFA Book Club will be reading Dear Medusa: (A Novel in Verse) by Olivia A. Cole as their November selection. The meeting to discuss the book is scheduled for December 5th.

Throughout October, our school community came together to collect socks that will be donated directly to a youth shelter, a critical resource that supports many students within our district.

Students are welcomed to come and learn about HBCUs, the purposes and benefits of African-American Greek fraternities and sororities, to strengthen their network, and increase opportunities for college and career.

With the help of characters like Rusty Torx, Sunny Beam and the Right Brothers, Detective Wattson (and our students) learned all about energy conservation and why saving our planet is so important.

Vails Gate STEAM Academy, in conjunction with their PTO, hosted our annual Trunk or Treat event here at the school. Many of our families were able to join us for a night of fun and activities.

Students danced to the sounds of the DJ and enjoyed a lot of yummy food. They had pizza, chicken fingers and mozzarella sticks from Mamma Mia Café and Pizzeria in New Windsor.

As part of their study of cell structure and function, students used colorful Play-Doh to represent the various parts of a cell, such as the nucleus, mitochondria, ribosomes, and cell membrane.

Each flag in the display represents a hero—whether it be a family member, friend, or community member—who has made sacrifices to protect our freedoms.

Books-n-Breakfast is an educational and social event that promotes community and relationship-building between our school and our families. This event is FREE and takes place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, between 8:00 -11:30 am in our school cafete

Middle School is right around the corner! This is a reminder that Heritage Middle School will be hosting their 6th Grade Selection Tour this Wednesday, November 13, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The NFA Girls Varsity Volleyball team will play Monroe Woodbury tomorrow, Saturday, November 9th at Mount Saint Mary College at 10am for the Section IX AAA Championship.

Parent teacher conferences for Heritage Middle School are scheduled on the following dates and times: Monday, November 25, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 7:00 AM - 10:15 AM.

Mrs. Kori Rogers, NECSD McKinney-Vento Liason, had the honor of speaking at Regional Food Bank of the Hudson Valley and Garnet Health Medical Center event to share the impact of children’s food programs in the NECSD.

Temple Hill Academy hosted an ENL (English as a New Language) Informational Breakfast for families as well as celebrate the success of students accomplishing Commanding on the NYSESLAT.
