Heritage Middle School proudly hosted its 6th annual Veterans Day Breakfast to honor our families and community who have served in any branch of our nation’s military.

This cherished tradition is a deeply personal way for the students and staff to give back and express thanks to the brave men and women who served our nation.

This is a friendly reminder that the district is closed on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. All schools and district offices will reopen on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

One of the first things you notice when you enter Meadow Hill is our large Gratitude Tree. The purpose of this project was for our whole school to contribute positive messages, helping to foster a culture of kindness.

Through music, poetry, and reflection, our school community expressed deep appreciation for the sacrifices made by those who protect our freedom.

Many students worked together to create an image that reflects the ideas of unity, diversity and respect for our Veterans.

These awards celebrate the diverse and critical roles played by professionals who demonstrate exemplary commitment and positive impact within their school communities.

Together with their 5th-grade students from Balmville Elementary School, Crozzoli and D'Amico embarked on an inspiring equity-based inquiry project, Where I'm From, Who I Am: Celebrating Student Identity Through Poetry.

Each class moved from one first grade room to the next, participating in exciting S.T.E.A.M. activities. Students worked on their fine motor skills as they made paper bag scarecrow puppets.

Meadow Hill School recently hosted a vibrant celebration in honor of Hispanic Heritage, bringing together students, families, and community members for an evening filled with delicious food, lively music, and cultural pride.

There were presentation stations, fossils dig, graphs on dinosaur surveys, fossils puzzles, and a geography interactive learning activity.
