Parents: Upcoming NYS Testing Information Grades 3-8
Every spring, the Grades 3-8 English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics Tests are administered to students across New York State. April 11th begins the NYS ELA Grade 3-8 testing. Math testing will begin May 1, 2018.

All-District Music Festival Celebration
Students from schools throughout the district joined voices and instruments to perform songs as a combined chorus, a combined band, and a combined orchestra.

District Hosts 46th Annual Spelling Bee For Grades 4 & 5!
The Elementary Spelling Bee Finals of the Newburgh Enlarged City School District consisted of an oral contest for fourth and fifth graders representing each building in district. The top three finishers came from Temple Hill, Balmville, and GAMS!

Fine and Performing Arts Department Presented the 2018 All District Art Show
Artwork was on display at the Ritz Theater on Broadway in Newburgh from students ranging in age from Kindergarten to sixth grade. Artwork will be on display through the end of March 2018.

Saturday's Are For STEAM! Thanks to Mount Saint Mary College.
The district's middle school aged scholars, grades 6th through 8th were invited to attend a free STEAM Academy event this past Saturday, March 17th at Mount Saint Mary College. Students gained hands on learning experience in a college setting.
