Acting Opportunities Available Through Empire State After School Program and the Before Broadway Theatre Company!
This summer, scholars enrolled in the Empire-State After School Program performed James and the Giant Peach - TYA. Scholars in the Before Broadway Theatre Company will also perform James and the Giant Peach - TYA this fall.

NECSD Empire State After School Program Drumline Performs Throughout Orange County
The NECSD Empire State After School Program Drumline has performed at various events throughout the county this fall. Performances have included the annual Safe Harbors on the Hudson gala and Orange County Arts Council gala in Goshen.

Meadow Hill “Shoulders Up” against Bullying
During the first week of October, Meadow Hill students joined schools and communities all over the world “go blue” against bullying. Students and staff annually participate in National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month.

Meadow Hill Gears Up by Wearing Colors for Cancer Awareness
During the months of September and October, Meadow Hill GEMS students and staff stood united adorning colors for ovarian, breast, and childhood cancer awareness. Teal, pink, and gold were worn by many throughout the building.

NECSD Celebrates Pink Night in Honor of Those Who Have Battled Cancer
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District participated in a Pink Night celebration in honor of those who have battled cancer. Participants from several schools lined the track and marched during a pre-game ceremony.

NFA College Information and College Fair Night - October 3, 2019
The night will include and admissions presentation at 5:15pm with information about the admissions process, scholarship information and financial aid. At 6:30pm over 100 colleges will be in attendance for students to meet with.

This summer, the NECSD Empire-State After School Drumline performed at the Hudson Valley Renegades. Tonight, they will perform at the Safe Harbors of the Hudson gala, honoring retired Director of Fine and Performing Arts, Ms. Theresa Brown.

All middle schools have hosted an orientation event for incoming 6th grade scholars. Each building held unique activities, but all middle schools had the goal of welcoming students to their new school.
