|Summer Meals Schedule Begins Today!
Beginning Tuesday, July 7th through August 28th, meal distribution will be every Tuesday and Friday only. All children 18 and under are welcome. They do not need to attend school at a specific meal location.
|Operation Reopen - Feedback Requested
In preparation for opening schools in September, NECSD would like your feedback. Currently, the Operation Reopen Task Force is examining and planning for multiple possible scenarios, which may include virtual and in-person school experiences.
|Elementary Report Card Information
The District has taken into consideration the multiple aspects of virtual learning during the extended school closure and has given thoughtful consideration to the third trimester grading process.

|Balmville Be A STAR and MBK Scholars Create Showcase Window for Black History Month
The scholars of Be A STAR and MBK at Balmville Elementary have been learning about their origins and ancestral roots. For the month of February, Be A STAR and MBK scholars, were asked to decorate the showcase window in the front of the building.
|Balmville Hosts School Bus Driver Appreciation Breakfast
Part of the breakfast also included a kickoff of the Balmville School “Safe Bus Behavior” campaign where drivers will report unsafe behavior daily to Balmville staff, and entire buses will be rewarded each month if they exhibit the safest behavior.
|Two Additional NECSD Teachers Earn National Board Certified Teacher Status
Teachers Ms. Lisa Ward from Fostertown School and Ms. Linda Vinti from NFA Main Campus were recognized for their hard work, persistence and dedication to the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards process.
|Fifth Grade Scholars Compete in District Math Meets Competition
Scholars are scored by various criteria that includes, solving the problem, strategy toward finding the answer, a written explanation on steps taken to solve the problem, and working as a team.
|Balmville Celebrates Students with 100 Percent Attendance in November
Balmville's celebration of students who received 100 percent attendance for the month of November. Parents and students in grades 3-5 were treated to hot chocolate and made a holiday craft in the morning.
