Tenth Grade Scholars Promote NECSD Marist ECHS Program to Incoming Students and Families
Scholars from the first cohort of the NECSD Marist Early College High School (ECHS) program attended the NFA Main High School Selection Tour to share information with students and their families about the program.

Mr. Gary Chasteen a presentation to the class about their upcoming event and what they were looking for in a design. Students will create and pitch their designs to the Habitat team in the next few weeks.

NFA Key Club to Host 3rd Annual International Night
The NFA Key Club will be hosting our 3rd annual International Night. This year all proceeds with be donating to the Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital Baby Shower. There will be performances, food and drinks.

NFA Varsity Competitive Cheer Takes Home Another 3rd Place Win
NFA Varsity Competitive Cheer took home another third place win this weekend at Valley Central’s Viking Pride Competition! We are so proud of them! So far this season, they have placed at every competition they’ve attended.

NFA Boys Varsity Basketball Team Wins Big
The NFA Boys Varsity Basketball team took home a win, this Saturday, February 1st, in a statement game against Albany Academy, 63:60. This advances their record to 13-1. Amari Tice (#2) led all scorers with 28 points.

HMS National Junior Honor Society Scholars Donate Items to Puerto Rico
The NJHS was able to collect 400 items to help, including food, baby supplies, blankets, pillows, first aid and health/beauty items. The group is spearheaded by HMS teacher, Mrs. Tara Lapierre.

Before Broadway Theater Co. Presents: Radium Girls
Scholars will be performing Radium Girls for the NFA Main Winter Drama. Performances will be held on Thursday and Friday, February 6th and 7th at 7pm and Saturday, February 8th at 2pm.

All Nine Fall Varsity Athletic Teams Achieve Scholar Athlete Status
These teams combine to make up 202 athletes. To receive Scholar-Athlete team recognition, the team’s average GPA for 75% of the roster must be greater than or equal to 90.00.

NFA Video Production Scholars Earned OSHA Certificate in Preparation of Video Competition
Mr. Du Quesnay's Advanced Video Production class (GBTV 2) attended a 10-hour OSHA training course given by Mr. Kaleita from Local 17. All of the students in attendance will receive official OSHA 10 certification cards.
