South Middle School Annual Books and Breakfast Event
SMS gave out more than 200 hot breakfasts during the event and each student received an SMS bag filled with culturally responsive books based on a student interest survey that students previously completed.

NFA Unified Basketball Celebrates Seniors
The NFA Unified Basketball Team celebrated senior athletes earlier this month. In Unified Sports, teams are made up of people of similar age and ability. Student athletes act as players and coaches.

NFA Girls Track Team Places in Several Championship Events!
Results from our Section 9 Class A Championships that were held Friday June 11th are in! There were 3 tri-meets held at three different locations and then the results were merged to determine overall outcomes.

Meadow Hill art teacher Mrs. Rachel Williams introduced the book Maybe Something Beautiful to her scholars in grades 2-5. Then the classes looked at many of the murals that are located right here in Newburgh.

American Legion Post 1796- New Windsor gave the Anthony Mancinelli Award to NFA main Senior, Mark Crook, in recognition of his academic achievements and his completion and certification in the NFA Cosmetology program.

The Heritage Trail Gets “Spruced” Up
Heritage Middle School received 50 White Spruce trees from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation. The next day, students on team 8B were planting them into the ground along the Heritage trail.
